reality is NOT self generated
Post modern thinking will tell you that you create your own reality. "Whatever narrative you have inside is what is real."
This is what has led to the nonsense of gender fluidity. "We create our reality, and if I want to be female today, with my boy parts in place, then those don't define my gender, I do!"
This is false just as much as saying "I can fly if I want to, gravity is what I make it," or "I am not 55, but only 35, because that is my reality." No, actually, you have been on this planet for 55 trips around the sun and so you are actually in reality 55.
Reality is not self generated. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." God made this world, outside of us, and not as a part of Himself. It is real, and really there. And what it is, it is. "And so God made man in His own image, in the image of God he made him, male and female he made them." We are male or female. God did this. We don't generate it.
The reality we live in comes from God, and not us. He is our creator and not we ourselves, or of ourselves.
