Sphere of influence

Who is actually in your sphere of influence? One of the biggest time wasters is going after influence with people who don't want it and won't receive it. People who really are not yours to influence.
Maybe you work with a junior high school class.  Or an elementary level Sunday school. Or simply your two children in your home.  Be thankful you have some people God has given you to influence.  And don't waste your time trying to influence 1000 people on Twitter who don't care what you have to say. UNLESS. UNLESS perhaps new doors are owning for you and your crowd of influence is shifting.  That's tricky.  I know. But just stay with the crowd you are supposed to influence.
It will be better for you and them.

Or unless it's clear you are supposed to influence a larger group.
But don't assume you are supposed to, or need to.  Or that just because you have had some insight that it applies to  everyone.

For a different culture or context what helped someone where you are could be very destructive somewhere else.

Just stick to the sphere of influence God has given you, unless you can see he's changing that.
