we aren't all mouths

It's funny how those who like to talk a lot, talk a lot.  And control the discussion.
When those who are minds and think a lot, they, or maybe those who are hearts, should actually lead the discussion.
And those who are mouths often think everyone else should be a mouth just like them.  And that somehow for being an eyeball, they are lesser.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

In a body, a healthy body, we need all the parts.  Eyes, ears, mouths, noses.
And hidden parts, too, kidneys, hearts, bones.
And we need to work together, not separately.

A beautiful set of abs can boast all day long, but without the rest of the body being healthy and supporting those abs, they are just rotting dust in a grave somewhere.
The point of the body is to be a living being, one whole person. Not to be a set of individual parts.
Recognized separately.
And to be direct, humans are people made in the image of God, meant to wholly point to Him and reflect Him.
And the body of Christ, is meant to work together, with different functioning members exercising different gifts that support each other and together be pointing to Jesus.
We were never meant to function as separate body parts, as though the hand can live on its own, or the ears.
But when the mouth thinks it's "all that," it sure can talk up a storm and get everyone else to talk and think just like it does. But isn't the brain and heart supposed to do the thinking?
